This past Saturday, after much contemplation, I decided to subscribe to Amazon Prime. Whilst browsing through what to watch, I found this series.
My mom and I managed to binge this all in a day. It was amazing. I especially loved the smoothie blending montages and the cinematography as a whole was breathtaking.
One thing I found quite frustrating was Nicole Kidman’s Russian accent. I felt like it could have been better or maybe they could have made it more authentic by casting an actress with a Russian accent or of Russian descent.
The final scene was cute, and I loved the choice of music – Silent Lucidity was definitely the best song for that ending. Sadly, we didn’t quite know how everyone’s life turned out as we only got to see Frances’ vision of the future and not the actual future.
The story was quite predictable but overall, I would say it was worth the binge.
