While I was on sem break, Prishya brought this series to my attention. I totally forgot about it until a few sem breaks later, during the pandemic. As this was my first BL drama (and first Thai show), I went in not knowing what to expect.
Well, my first impression was that both the main characters were annoying in their own ways. Then, eventually, after a few episodes of hate-watching, I realised I had grown attached to them.
Earth and Mix were amazing and their chemistry was undeniable. They got me believing that they were actually a couple in real life, not just for the show. Yep, that’s how good it was.
Watching this show also made me want to visit Chiang Rai just to see the kampung life there because it looks so serene and beautiful. The whole vibe feels like Thailand is calling me.
Because this was my first BL, every other BL drama is going to have a hard time living up to this, I think. Prishya agrees. We’ll see if anything can top this.
