While my hands were itchy one day, I opened Klook and saw a mega sale happening. Being in the marketing field myself, I know a marketing ploy when I see one, but I didn’t want to miss the opportunity. I grabbed a Buy 1, Free 1 ticket deal for REXperience.
I decided to drag Muhiilesh with me, since he has nothing better to do on a random Saturday himself. Keeshaav sent us to the Cyberjaya Utara MRT station and we took the train from there to Pasar Seni, switching to the red Kelana Jaya LRT line at Ampang Park. From there, we just walked to REXKL.

The first thing we did was show the counter our e-tickets from Klook, and once they scanned it, we were in! We were one of the first to enter the venue too. When we walked around, the movement detection thingy was making our shadows radiate.
Seeing a random beanbag, we plopped our butts on it, not thinking twice.

The first session was Hanya Batik, which was very semangat nasionalisme. Reminded me of school days, but the concept of telling the story of Malaysia using batik creatives was so genius. I was hooked the entire time.

Next, there was this trippy session which was really entertaining to me (but gave Muhiilesh a headache).

For the third and final exhibit, there was an antique TV placed in front of the big screen. Then, a person ran across the room and sat in front of the TV. Reminded me of how my brothers and I used to sit glued to the TV.

Overall, it was a great experience. If they switch up their exhibits periodically (not sure if they do), I wouldn’t mind coming back for the next REXperience. Money and evening well spent if you ask me.
