Destined for greatness
But doomed to fail,
If that is the case
Do we truly prevail?

If heroes were real,
And the legends true,
Won’t they be different
From me and you?

All these thoughts
Come chiming in my head,
Rhyming along
Making me wish I were dead.

Some of them had strength,
Others had wit,
Although they put up good fights,
All the same, the sand they bit.

I do believe in myths
I swear I think of them constantly,
But most parts I believe happened,
Others, I feel are bolognese.
