The mighty river flows
All the way to the sea
Sticking to her own route
Minding her own business
Humankind
And their ever toxic behaviour
Starting war and fighting for their cause
Dropping a bomb into the beautiful river
Hoping to annihilate everyone who depends on her
But still the River
She goes about her day
Not knowing that she is
Going to be an accomplice
To the murder of millions
Who live around her banks.
